Local News
Man Arrested in Whitby Gas Station Robbery – the DRPS have arrested a 23-year-old man, Nahshon Kerr of Plantation Court, Whitby. He has been charged with robbery with an offensive weapon and weapons dangerous.

Stone’s Take
I missed this as it happened a few days ago. We had an article on the robbery back on July 30, so it’s really good to see that, in this particular case, crime does not pay. You will get caught. You will suffer the consequences. I can’t begin to know the motivation for the robbery besides the obvious need for money. Regardless of the underlying issue driving this man to commit robbery, they did indeed break the law. It’s now up to our courts to determine his fate. I feel safer knowing that the DRPS is out there and that eventually all criminals will be caught.
