Weather
The weather was super nice today. We had no rain and the sun was out. A nice cool breeze meant I got to kick the kids outside once again. It’s nearly midnight, so I’m typing this as fast as I can to make sure it still falls under August 29! It is currently 20°C and we’re expecting some rain tomorrow (even though they said it was going to be clear until Tuesday).
News
Durham Police Release Pictures of Man Using Stolen Bank Card in Whitby. A card was broken into in Oshawa and a bank card was used later the next day. Looks like the police need help identifying the suspect.
Stone’s Take
So, every once in a while we get these cases where the police don’t know who the suspect is. Various reasons can be at play for this; for instance, this is the first time the person has ever committed a crime. Anyway, the robbery actually took place in Oshawa back on July 10. The card was used on July 11 at 2:30 in the morning. He must have tapped it, ’cause otherwise how would he have known the PIN?
Anyway, it would be cool if we could help the police find this dude and figure out just what the hell he’s doing with a stolen card. It was totally by accident I’m sure.
