THe Whitby Report – September 11, 2019

Today is Wednesday, September 11, 2019. I am your host Stone and this is The Whitby Report.

One radish has sprouted!

Weather
The temperature is 26°C, feeling like 32°C! From what I understand it’s summer’s last gasp, even though summer is not over until September 23. There was an amazing thunderstorm last night, complete with bright flashes and loud booms. I actually slept well. The nice warm temperatures have made my radishes start to sprout!

Local News
Nominations Open for Whitby’s ‘Celebrating Youth Awards’. Stone’s Take
It’s great the town is focusing on what kids are doing to make us a better place. Getting them while they’re young to give them a high five will instill their town pride and hopefully do even better things in the future. If we continually build up, we will have an even better town for all of us.
