Weather
As we said yesterday, we’re going to have great weather for the rest of the week. Today we had a high of 22°C. According to the seven-day forecast, we’re going to hit 26°C on Sunday! On Monday that comes crashing down as we return to seasonal norms of 20°C.
Local News
Usually what I do is type in “Whitby” and hit News on the Google Search. I have a look-see at what’s happening. Nothing new, nothing I really want to relay or comment on. No news is good news, though, right? There were no shootings to report on, no robberies, no assaults. Awesome! This is the Whitby I know and love. Beautiful, boring Whitby. I would love it if Whitby was like this every day.
I’m continuing to examine my local political candidates as the leaders in our federal election continue to prance around like clowns; some of them even with brown-face. Yes. That is an image of our current Prime Minister, who is running for re-election, wearing brown-face. Apparently two more images have “surfaced” (the timing is impeccable) and Trudeau himself does not know if that will be the end of it.
Yikes. I certainly need to lower my eyes and keep an eye on the election at the local level. At the top it’s just a three-ring circus. At least locally, all the candidates seem to be on the level. Now I just need to figure out who I’m going to vote for.
