The Whitby Report – October 2, 2019

Today is Wednesday, October 2, 2019. I am your host Stone and this is The Whitby Report.

The Garden Report
That 90% chance rain did happen eventually. It was cold. It was drizzling for most of the day. What a miserable day. My garden must be freaking out wondering how we went from 30°C+ weather to a high of 13°C. Another week or so and the radishes should be good to pick.

My earliest and fondest memory of BlizzCon

Local News
None. Again. That’s okay, though. I’d rather no news than bad news.

So let’s focus on something that happened to me last night. Thanks to Toasty, the cost of going to BlizzCon dramatically decreased (hotels + flights are always the worst). The Boss actually gave me the thumbs up to book a flight for BlizzCon. This was DIRECTLY due to Toasty’s generosity.

What happens at BlizzCon stays at BlizzCon… until you post it online.

Buying a BlizzCon ticket is just not feasible at this point, but really, I’ve said it before, if I couldn’t go in, that would be okay, because just being able to hang out with folks outside is reason enough to head down to Anaheim.

I am so super excited to be able to head down, even if it’s just for a few days. I can’t wait to be able to once again share a beer or two with all of you.
