Stone's Galactic Wrestling Federation SGWF

The tournament is over and Sgt. Rosa Rivera once again reigns supreme! Queen Rosa becomes the first wrestler to ever win the crown (either King or Queen) in back-to-back tournaments.

With her victory, she'll be taking on Maddie Hunter for the Women's SGWF Championship. Looking at past matchups, Queen Rosa has won three out of four matchups against the champion, so the odds seem to be in her favour to win the title for the 6th time!

The tournament ran pretty well although I was a bit surprised at how quick the finals were. Planning is underway for the upcoming King of the Ring tournament, tentatively scheduled for around August 1st, once Month 3 concludes.

Our 2026 rendition of the Queen of the Ring is now set! We are scheduling it for the weekend of Saturday, June 13th, 2026.

Preliminary rounds are four- or five-way matches with 1-Fall. Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals are all head to head matches with 1-Fall.

The Final is scheduled to be a Best 2-of-3 Falls and will crown our new Queen of the Ring! Can Sgt. Rosa Rivera reclaim the crown?

The winner of the Queen of the Ring tournament will also be granted a title shot for the Women's SGWF Championship the following week on June 20th!

• King of the Ring (August)
• Trinary Tournament Women (September)
• Trinary Tournament Men (November)

We'll be finishing off the year (and month 6) with Wrestlemania 6, which will be the 7th Anniversary of SGWF. The plan is to put the Christmas belts back up for grabs and hold another Letter Zed match in addition to the regular 6 titles being defended.

Next week we'll be simming our first PPV for our first regular month back. We've transitioned to a 6-week month where the mid-card titles get defended twice (weeks 3 & 4) and then again on week 6. We had our mid-card titles change hands mid-month and then had the former champs win a rematch in the week 5 #1 Contender's match. That was a bit surprising.

Currently we're at 62 wrestlers (31 for each gender) and 14 tag teams (7 for each gender). I wanted to reiterate that we're not having everyone show up all the time, in fact, we select a limited number of wrestlers to focus on per month. If a wrestler or team didn't get picked to appear in the previous month, they will have a much greater chance to appear next month but it is still NOT GUARANTEED.

I'm also going to be adding an 8th "random pairing" tag team for each gender just to mix things up a bit. The thought it that pairing will be a thing for that month only unless they win the Tag Team Championship. Only wrestlers that are not already on an official team will be eligible for random tag teams unless you tell me otherwise.

Next month we'll be debuting a new wrestler in the women's division; I'm pretty excited for this. Since the 2K24 servers are now offline, I'm assuming it's going to be the last time someone is going to be able to "Pull a Zynda" for a while, however, if you wanted to add a new wrestler, just let me know and we'll work it out over discord.

To finish up, thank you to everyone for you patience and understanding. I'm pretty excited at how well my format has gone and actually I've had to hold myself back a bit and make sure I only do it weekly so I don't fall back into bad habits.

After a year of being off, we vacated all titles as of one month from the date of the last show, which was a full year from today (did not plan this that's for sure!)

I appreciate everyone's patronage and your patience to be sure. While we won't have a specific day, I'm hoping to do the shows once a week (maybe two weeks, depending).

WWE 2K24 community support ends on March 31 2026, so if you are looking to do an upload or anything, please reach out to me ASAP!

First show has been completed. Took a little longer than expected to process results but learned a lot during that new process.

While this show had 10 matches (I believe the next one does too), once we get into our regular 5-6 week "month", shows will be around 6 matches or so, so much shorter than we usually get.

We will be randomly selecting wrestlers and teams for each month. We'll be weighting wrestlers that didn't show up MUCH HIGHER for the following month, so in theory, wrestlers shouldn't be sitting in back to back months.

ALL TITLES get defended on Week 6 (or wherever the end of the month lands) with the Canadian and Hello Kitty titles getting defended an additional time on Week 4.

Could still be some adjustments but this is the plan going forward.

If anyone wants back into the active roster, please ping me. If you want to do any changes or uploads or whatever, you need to let me know by March 30 as servers go offline on March 31.

• We are going with a truncated roster, so even if your wrestler is in, they may not show up right away or may be temporarily rotated out.
• Changes / downloads to wrestlers will be allowed up until March 31 2026, however, matches / shows will likely start before then.
• We are simming on WWE 2K24 and have no plans on purchasing 2k26.
• Championships have been vacated as of March 7 2025 (one month after our last SGWF show).
